Bounce the ball – Hiphop Inszenierung

Hiphop als urbane Kunst und vielschichtige Kultur ist seit langem ein fester Bestandteil des STAMP Festivals. In diesem Jahr wird für die Eröffnung des Festivals, am 7. Juni 2024, eine eigene Hiphop Choreografie erarbeitet: Acht professionelle Hiphop Tänzer*innen werden am Platz der Republik eine energiegeladene Tanzperformance aufführen.

Begleitet wird diese Tanzperformance durch eine Projektion, die Akteur*innen und Aktionen visualisiert, die sich für mehr Vielfalt in der Fanszene und in den Fußballvereinen einsetzen.

Die Inszenierung entsteht in einer Zusammenarbeit mit der Hiphop-Größe Niels Robitzky alias STORM als Choreograph, Axel Zielke als Kurator und Michael Menke für die Videoprojektion.

Hiphop as urban art in all its facets has long been part of the STAMP festival. This year a special choreography will be developed for the opening  ceremony of the festival  on June 7th 2024: eight proffessional Hiphop dancers will present a dance performance full of energy at Platz der Republik.

A projection visualising protagonists and activities will accompany this dance performance – a campaign for more diversity in football fandom.

This production represents a cooperation between the famous Hiphop artist Niels Robitzky alias STORM (choreography), Axel Zielke (curator) and Michael Menke (video projection).
