Hast du den schwarzen Block vor dem Rathaus Altona schon einmal bemerkt? Vor dem Monument „Black Form – Dedicated to the Missing Jews“ von Sol LeWitt (1989) am Platz der Republik schafft INGLAM einen Moment des aktiven Erinnerns. Nora: „Das ist eine Lecture Performance über ein Monument und das Unwiderrufliche“. Julia: „Das ist eine Lecture Performance über einen Lapsus, einen vielsagenden Übersetzungsfehler“. Anja: „Das ist eine Lecture Performance über ein Gegen-Monument“.
Im Anschluss an die Lecture Performance sind 20 Min. Zeit für ein Gespräch mit den Künstlerinnen und deine Fragen.
Have you ever noticed the black block in front of Altona Town Hall? In front of the monument “Black Form – Dedicated to the Missing Jews” by Sol LeWitt (1989) on Platz der Republik, INGLAM creates a moment of active remembrance. Nora: “This is a lecture performance about a monument and the irrevocable”. Julia: “This is a lecture performance about a lapsus, a significant translation error”. Anja: “This is a lecture performance about a counter-monument”.
After the lecture performance, there will be 20 minutes for a discussion with the artists and your questions.
